What We Do

Sindh Digital Media Forum (SDMF) is a social impact initiative working to build a responsible digital ecosystem across Sindh. In collaboration with the Department of Colleges Education, Government of Sindh, SDMF trains students and educators to become Digital Media Ambassadors — leading awareness campaigns on truth, unity, and digital responsibility.Through seminars, training sessions, and digital projects, we equip young people with skills in digital literacy, fact-checking, cyber ethics, and content creation — empowering them to use media for education, awareness, and nation-building.

About the Youth Empowerment Program

The Sindh Digital Media Forum (SDMF) leads a visionary initiative to empower students across Sindh through digital education and civic awareness. Under its Youth Empowerment Program, SDMF is training young leaders to identify fake news, counter disinformation, and use social media for education, community service, and nation-building. In partnership with the Department of Colleges Education, Government of Sindh, this program equips Digital Media Ambassadors with skills in fact-checking, cyber ethics, and content creation — creating a generation that champions truth, unity, and digital responsibility.

  • Digital Literacy & Awareness — Teaching students to recognize and counter misinformation, fake news, and online manipulation.
  • Youth Empowerment & Leadership — Training Digital Ambassadors in communication, media ethics, and community engagement.
  • Positive Use of Social Media — Encouraging educational content, civic awareness, and nation-building campaigns.
  • Digital Media Ambassador Clubs — Each participating college nominates 20 students to form a Digital Media Club, fostering teamwork and youth-led awareness.
  • Fact-Checking & Cyber Ethics — Promoting critical thinking and responsible content creation to build an informed online community.

SINDH DIGITAL MEDIA AMBASSADORS CONFERENCE 2025​

The Sindh Digital Media Ambassadors Conference 2025 was organized by The Sindh Digital Media Forum at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi. The event brought together Digital media Activists, Content Creators, PR professionals, Vloggers, Students, and Notable individuals from different departments across the Sindh. 
The primary objective of the conference was to promote the responsible and positive use of digital media. During panel discussions, participants engaged in meaningful conversations on critical issues including disinformation, cybersecurity, digital citizenship,

The Sindh Digital Media Forum hosted the Sindh Digital Media Ambassadors Conference 2025 at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.Panel discussions addressed key topics like disinformation, cybersecurity, digital citizenship, and youth empowerment. Esteemed guests included, Mr. Ahmed Shah (Chief Guest), Mr. Ahmed Zaeem, Dr. Nauman Ahsan, Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi, Mufti Zubair, Dr. Fauzia Khan, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Mr. Fahad Shafiq, Mr. Faqeer Muhammad Lakho, Mr. Hassan Bakhshi, Brig. (R) Karar Hussain, and Mr. Ghulam Hussain Sohoo. Speakers emphasized collaboration between youth, educators, and institutions to use digital platforms for education, social impact, and intercultural harmony. Mr. Ahmed Shah highlighted the need for empowering youth through creativity and positive messaging. Professor Meraj Siddiqui, Chief Patron of SDMF, closed the event by thanking all participants. Certificates were awarded, recognizing attendees as official Sindh Digital Media Ambassadors.
